Jessie the Pacer is a 1977 AMC Pacer that took part in a documented cross country road trip as part of Instagram's promotional media for a new feature. The goal was to take the original car and transform it into a photobooth that is fully functional from inside the car so that users can take a simulated road trip photo. Behind the car hangs an array of mounted photos of journeys from various Instagram users, as well as process photos of the car's retrofitting. Floor graphics help connect the user to both the car and an interactive kiosk to encourage the taking and posting of photos to social media.
